can use the face id, one of the reasons i got the phone. it works flawlessly even at night

For those who hooted this Magic 7 pro, whats your SOT for a full charge?

not full charge but roughly, 8am to 8pm, light usage, ~ 30% used. mainly bluetooth audio streaming and background video playback, with strava for abt 40mins and browse HWZ and reddit. kept on 120hz and 20-30% brightness. i've used for about a week already, battery life very good, yet to end a day with below 30%.

See u deciding between this and x200 pro, i picked this cos can get cheaper at 1.1k, local set, 2 yr warranty, ToF sensor, and can change font and icons . Camera confirm more cui than vivo but won't use it often enough to warrant topping up the difference

Yes exactly the point. I only decided to change phone from s24u to x200 pro initially because damn mrwhosetheboss he jinxed me. Haha but really x200 pro is trult exceptional. The only thing that held me back is that no SG set. Then comes m7p. There are tons of features and yes it is way cheaper if buy in local shops here and even RWB got free honor watch 5 and the charging pad. My heart stopped last time when my s22u fell face down and the screen just went black. No cracks at all though. Good thing was able to get free replacement due to warranty hence im so wary when it comes to "screen replacement warranty". I still have few days to think before i pull the trigger but im leaning closer to this m7p.

Why you dont full charge? Is it because to preserve the battery health?

actually i feel MY set also ok, is just that m7pro being local is added bonus. then cheaper is the biggest reason.

i charge to full previous night then use abit before sleeping, so i dont count as starting the day w "full charge" haha

love the x200 pro for camera, but the funtouch os is very cumbersome. especially had pop up ads which i hated

Thats what i heard. But i really dont have experience personally. I do have exp with xioami last time and yes ads were annoying.

Wierdly, this phone can't watch douyin livestream but can watch videos... Logged into my iphone and can watch livestream..

Both logged in using the same account too... Just that the M7p can't watch livestreams

I just got my china honor magic 7 and is pretty disappointed about it. I was looking forward to it as I had a positive experience transiting from Huawei X3 to Honor Magic V3. The Magic 7 is chunky and does not have the sleek feel even though it is not the pro variant. The dynamic wallpaper in Magic 7 is also disappointing as compared to Magic V3. Besides having good specs, Honor should also look into the aesthetics and ergonomics aspects of mobile phone design. If they could do it for V3, they should have done it for Magic 7.
