My OCBC app is working perfectly with my Honor Magic 7 rsr. OCBC has added a lot of anti-scam features to its app so there could be something you installed... Like an apk?

Also do check whether your Google Play system has been updated to April 2025. We need to click on this under the About phone in settings to update it.

If all the above doesn't work, you'll need to wait for OCBC's response.

Yeah... unfornately still waiting for them to get a reply from the IT side. I have reinstalled multiple times liao still cannot. Abit sian... i also went to the honor store and ask them if they have any feedback about the ocbc app not working so far dont have.

yes i have checked both the version are at the latest one. I did try to delete anon apps but it doesnt make any sense because i did the phone clone which is from my s23 ultra to the new honor magic pro.

So ya im in abit of a tight spot since i mostly on OCBC for my daily usage.

Yes I was thinking that. It shouldn't be the Honor or even the OCBC app itself as we'd all be facing some issue if so.

originalShrimp will need to back up the sms and what's app to google drive. Factory reset then re-install.

I don't know when OCBC will get back if they even will.

i might give this a shot as the last resort perhaps. I got to find a comp and transfer all data. Any of yall have a recommended software that can do that?

can't use Google drive or even thumbdrive? u still have most of the data in your previous phone?

HAHA I SOLD my old phone already. so yes... I need to clear up some space on my laptop make sure got enough space. But just a bit sian to redo the whole process again.

I sold my phone only after 3 days of use and the OCBC app is working perfectly fine... -.- so after I sold liao then issue pop out...T.T sigh but thanks I will probably give it a last resort

I have no issues with my OCBC app as well. Able to log in fine using fingerprint.

if it was working before than should be something else. u not using VPN or any sort of proxy services, anti virus etc? could try another telco network too

System update May 2025 security patch just released.

Try updating that and see if it helps.

i delete all the uncessary apps, nope not using proxy or VPN... unfortunately tried today again same issue. HAHA really feel like pulling my hair out. initially ok but no rabak. ><

Most of us here are not experiencing anything like "rabat". In fact for me it's been awesome that it has taken over my S25 Ultra as my main driver.

Hi! i think is an awesome phone better than my Samsung at least! I have just received an update from OCBC IT side and they manage to pull through! Hope what I mentioned earlier wont impact your decision to purchase this awesome phone as is purely on OCBC side and not the problem with the phone.

According to OCBC, sometimes when you change devices, the security function/patch might detect suspicious activity, hence they have something to stop you from login in via one-touch, according to them. So they did something on their back end, which I dunno what, but they say this usually is a standalone case and is not uncommon. Should any of y'all face similar issues, contact your relevant banking services and usually u will get a reply 3-5 working days! I will continue to test out the app to see if is fix. Thanks to those who gave me some suggestions as well! Cheers

I changed to honor YTD night. Also side load some china apps. No issues also.

Maybe u damn sway I can say
