I remember there is a threshold of value of goods per person if you go overseas less than $400.

Below 24-hours, cannot buy more than $400 of goods, else need to declare and pay GST. If want to buy more than $400, need to stay > 24 hours. Not sure if i am right

Just saw the specs that this phone is oled vs most other phones have amoled. Will there be noticeable difference? Dowan the trauma i felt last time going from mate 20 pro to honor 8 pro... Honor 8 pro ppi much higher, but the screen is noticeably worse. Tbf, its moving from oled to lcd...

Can't compare side by side because shops that sell m8p no longer have m7p, but i go one shop see m7p, and then go another see m8p, the screen of m8p don't look as nice. I'll probably get this because I'm looking for a 1tb phone and for android, it seems like only honor or samsung is the option, and if rumours are true, samsung battery capacity is a turn off.

So yea, probably will get it and I'm prepared to accept that the screen is noticeably less nice, but still hoping its something i can change with settings.

Curved, but alot less curved than magic7pro. Imo, in terms of usage and feel on hand, it's basically flat. But not sure how the slight curve affects screen protectors and durability.
