Honor magic 8pro that bad?
I'm using Samsung s25u, thinking to change for face ID and bass sound from speakers.
It's good. But changing for the sake of speakers might not be worth. Yes, it has great speakers, but ultimately, it's still a phone speaker. It's one of the best for a phone, but any random speaker will be much better

Play with the display sets.. overall not bad for many Flagship phones.

Initially wanted to get Fold phones for old age user like me, then give up after seeing the limited tech features on foldables.

Come along Vivo x300 pro & Honor m8p.
Amazed by x300p camera and stunt by m8p sound/faceID.

Dilemma between x300p vs m8p.
Reading the posts here since last year, many brothers jump to x300p...😅🤣
Honestly, u have to think, how important would u rate camera vs faceID. Note that m8p also have decent cameras, but vivo no faceID. But they should have decent enough face unlock, and the faceID for bank apps, u still need to press confirm after it recognizes your face. Other than that, I'm not sure what sets these two apart, unless u v particular over the chipset.

Did you consider oppo? I feel like the x factor for that phone is the UI which is better than magicOS and originOS. And it's cameras are basically on par with vivo's based on reviews.

Camera lose vivo at least by 9 streets away .. hahaha jokes aside, color science different but I personally feel, clarity is next level on Vivo, much much sharper and you get to zoom further.

As in oppo loses by a huge margin? Or honor? I do think honor is clearly inferior, but it's still quite good. Portrait mode gives quite good pictures.

But always tot oppo is quite close.

Like I mentioned, color science is different. Clarity wise, X300 Pro win by miles.
I can't use X9 Pro as the panel make my eyes feel painful, so no matter how good also no use.

Not too bad.
I got mine from mister mobile at $1220 w/o buds and essential kit.

Just take note, check the phone on the spot. I noticed a small non removable mark on the back of the phone only when I'm home.

xundd case never go wrong. cheap n good.
Thanks bro. Honestly, I do think xundd case v ugly, but I bought the one with the stand and tried as I going long distance cycling and trekking and wanted more protection. But until now I haven't remove it, the feel of it quite good and the stand is good quality.

Using M8p for almost 3 days. Overall not bad. just very hard to find a decent magnet case.

Compared to my Samsung s25 ultra, all Chinese flagships outshine it in Display details and shadow. s25u display blown out a lot of bright parts and it's tiring looking at the display for long hours. Disappointed with Samsung amoled.

Camera wise, Chinese flagships wins in portraits, Tele-zoom and night shots. Also the s25u tends to make portrait face dark. some say it natural. s25u night photos blown out details of bright lights.

however, still feel Samsung OneUI is well polished. let's see s26 ultra have to offer on 26 Feb launch.

i prefer those that able to protect the camera too, unlike those no protection. also very hard to find casing that able to protect camera with good quality. no worry, everyone got their own prefer.

Don't really like the AI over processed photos taken by x300p. Try zooming in on the details of the photos and you will know what I mean.

after getting the Honor m8p. i went to 2 challengers stall to compare Vivo x300p and Oppo find x9p again. all 3 are closely matched.

Personal priorities:
1) Audio and Visual (m8p>x9p>x300p)
The screen tech by Honor is clearly supreme. Petal details and cloud shadows are well contrast. Best eye care features. Audio is Best, if not 2nd best in Android world (Poco F8 Ultra).

2) Camera ( x300p>m8p>x9p)
very tough fight here. oppo specs very impressive but the photos didn't match the high specs. x300p continue to improve from x200p legacy. m8p great improvement from m7p but always over-expose photos.

3) Hand feel and Biometric security.
(x9p>m8p>x300p)
vivo top heavy, always feel like flipping the phone. m8p slightly better than x300p. Oppa best hand feel, stable while typing.
FaceID works for most app except DBS app. No more mis-scan of old man's fingerprint. As one gets older, the fingerprint pattern harder to scan.

Think for battery, x9p>x300p>m8p.
Both oppo and vivo are marathon runners. honor is average battery life.
