anyone having volte on both sim?

if sim 1 is on call, does it drop sim 2 network?

i have 2 volte sim, sim 1 on call, sim 2 on data.

so scenario 1

1) i made a volte call to the bank with sim 1, sim 2 network dropped
2) bank send authroisation to the banking app
3) as sim 2 network dropped, banking app cannot receive the notification

scenario 2

1) i made a call to the bank with sim 2, sim 1 network dropped
2) bank send authroisation to banking app, but i blur blur didnt log out of the app, notification was not received.
3) bank send sms to sim 1
4) cannot receive sms to sim 1, as the ongoing voice call with sim 2 caused the sim 1 network to drop.

i just realised the moment 1 sim made a call out, the other sim will automatically dropped the network.
This apply to all dual sim phones. It’s dual standby and not dual active. When one sim is engage in a call, the other sim will be inactive. Same goes for iPhones.

thanks. previously my legend mate 20x was able to use sim 1 to call sim 2. is there dual sim active? it was a bit of troublesome that when my otp sim is on sim 2, and while on the phone with bank for 2fa, cant receive sms on my sim 2.

Cannot be. I am also ex Mate 20X user. Dual standby as in both sim are in standby mode to receive phone calls or messages, Data depends on the sim that u selected.

Once one sim card receive a phone call, the other sim will be inactive (the signal bar will be flat for the other sim, calls and sms will not be able to receive). This is common behavior among all the dual sim phones which I used before.

both sims maintain 4g connectivity throughout the test.

mine is a china rom mate 20x. but i have a global mate 20x, and i think it is the same. i cant test it, as the motherboard is swapped out.

Did u turn on VoWifi? I forgotten does it have that function. Maybe u turn off your wifi and try again? Mine will disable the other line if engage on one line.

china rom phone mostly dont have vowifi. both my mate 20x and v2 dont have vowifi.

i turned wifi off, and was able to replicate the same operation.

that's why i find it a little inconvenient that v2 isnt able to have both 4g on standby.

btw, the mate 20x has an extra option "dual sim 4g" under sim management. maybe thats why the mate 20x is able to have both sim on during incoming/outgoing call.

enrolled for the Magic OS 9 beta program and now prompted to test out the closed beta OS.

not sure wanna try it out.

edit: i think its official release, not beta. downloaded and run fine.

the loading of apps is so smooth and fast!

for those who are interested to know the updates.

Hi, anyone has the T&C for their Honor Care 365 Day Screen Protection warranty? Or anyone has had any experience so far? As the phone is coming to 1 year old soon, and my external screen protector is peeling off so wondering if can get it changed under warranty

not so much. that is samsung's proprietary feature.

think other manufacturer wont want to copy or follow.
not really just SS killer move.
any phone, just update software may trigger it.
even apple may trigger green screen

Anyone knows where to get the inner screen protector replaced aside from the service center?
