Looks like this time around the launch is substantial and many major shops going to carry it. I already seen the posts from Challenger and Courts. Even some reputable street shops like ViMobile all posted about the V2.. Hopefully the price is tempting..
hard, consider it 6 month old phone.

If it is priced at about 1.9k i think it will be a hard sell for me, given that oppo find n3 seems to have the better camera.

If it launches ar 1500-1600 range it will be alot more attractive, but im guessing 1800-1900 rrp. Anything more i really dont think it will do well

Seem like all those thin fold phones do not have wireless charging like fold 5. Maybe the function will make the phone thicker?

I predict if 2k and above will be $2199 or $2099
if 2k and below will be $1899 or $1999

Considering N3 RRP is $2421 and Fold 5 RRP is $2602

if below $2k is really quite a good deal, if u looking at foldables.

In China the Magic V2 starts from ¥8,999 (around $1,250/£970), rising up to ¥11,999 (around $1,670/£1,290) for an 'Ultimate' edition with a stylus included in the box.

Based on the conversion rate, it should be around $1699 or $1799 for the normal version. Most of the time it is quite accurate based on the previous model.

The Ulitmate version's chances of selling globally are 0-1%. lol

Ultimate is 0% cause no IMDA certification.

IMDA is just for the local reference. So far most China premium handphone brand sets don't sell globally except maybe one or two exceptional cases.

Current S22 ultra user and very interested in this foldable phone.
Looking to see what "magic" Samsung has installed for the S24 ultra on 18 Jan before deciding.
Anyone know if the Magic V2 supports eSIM?
