If memory serves, no. So does the Huawei Mate X3 (I had this one before). Not surprised since they are related companies, and a reason why I sold off the X3 and did not consider the V2. Went with the Oppo Find N3 instead.

Bugis Challenger got. And they have the option of add $199 for extra 1 yr or 2 yrs warranty. Also will give cashback of $30 IIRC (my frens went and told me one)

Display set at JB KSL. Indeed very slim and nice to hold, display very sharp and phone feeps snappy. gms all inside. The outer screen is about 10-20% smaller than my s23u but much more usable than the z fold outer.

The inner screen warranty is one year, other parts years (for malaysia sets)

must take PU for the lightest light-weight foldable

The display set was the purple one i think it's glass back. It's already very light. The pu leather back one is 6g lighter but practical use case won't make much difference. The pu leather back i think will be good for people who don't want casing and want to avoid finger prints

every gram counts as one would surely buy a case and that will add to the weight one

paid and done. challenger offered additional yr of screen protection at $100, thinking about it. got 7 days to think about adding it ....

the bundle first yr screen replacement is only 1 time. not 1 time for inner , 1 time for outer ....

does any current magic v2 users have issue using google maps live feature.. which uses the Augmented realityt... I do have gms installed... but it crashes whenever I launch google maps live... hope anyone can feedback on this .. If there is a workaround

Went and tried at Northpoint Challenger store. Played for a while and Software is plain vanilla and hardly any differentiate factor between their candy bar phones and this foldable. Now I could see and value on how much time Samsung have spent on tweaking the software for the foldables.

Even though there is nothing special on the software part, I am so poison by the hardware. Ended up placing my order through shopee.

The $199 for extra warranty is from Challenger or Honor? I msg them on Shopee & they say Honor does not provide extended warranty services. =P

i ask the JP branch. the additional 1 yr screen protection is by challenger.

I ask them in that case , the screen is 3rd party replacement or what. the sale assistant told me is honor original screen, challenger will sent to honor to replace.

if u say honor does not provide extended warranty, then challenger is playing the long game and use this to earn extra money in hope that no one or few ppl will go to them to get it replace from 2nd yr onwards.

challenger are probably paying out of their own pocket if a repair comes from us year 2 onwards. probably banking on us changing to v3 since nowadays nobody seems to keep a new phone that long

come to think of it, if i were to get the challenger extended warranty.. best to have things written down and not base on one salesman mouth since this is not an official honor warranty.
