Yes. There is a native QR scanner app.

You need to be in the Honor ecosystem, meaning you need to buy their Honor laptop and tablet to use that Magic Portal feature. If you just want to pull images and do basic sreen mirroring on your Windows desktop/laptop, can use Phone Link for Windows. Macbook users...out of luck unless there is a third party app that I am not aware of.

Anyone knows a way to display a desktop clock on the outside display if the phone is placed like an A frame on the desk?

[Update] Got it... it's called "Standby mode" on iOS so just search using this keyword in Google Playstore. Got a few choices.

bro no need download additional app. Go to Settings > Home screen & Style > Standby

How is the batt life for local global rom sets?

screen time, can get around 7hrs+...As the global rom will allow apps to run in teh background after you close the app, this is suppose to siphon the battery life a little. As long as you don't play graphic intensive games continuously, you should be able to get by for a day easily.
