I like the default casing, only issue is install/uninstall sim card. I do this when I rotate my simcards for roaming purposes. Need to remove the from casing. After a while, think the tape will become not sticky.

As long as we want to go "full 360 protection", it will inevitably add some bulk to it. It unavoidable. Case in point is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. For the unitiated, while it is true that the Pixel is heavier than Magic V3 but if we go "naked", I have to say that Pixel is really not that bad. It is very well-balanced and the industrial design actually feel more robust and sturdy which translates to durablity in the long term compared to Honor Magic V3 which is very thin and we can't defy physics, such thinness will present some point of weakness at a certain part of the phone...where? I dunno at the moment. Only time will tell.

Look at the high failure rate of the laughable Huawi Mate XT Tri-fold...It is hard to find a third party case to protect the "exposed" inner screen. That phone really needs a full 360 protection compared to any foldables at the moment. :p
Pixel fold can put in washing machine and tumble anot :p

I see that as more of a gimmick bordering unrealistic...We only see "what" Honor marketing team wants us to "see". Anyone enterprising enough to try Honor's claim and see whether you dare to "challenge" their claim. Who knows, the phone might actually survives the washing machine torture test. If not, you can sue Honor for false advertisement. :p

Cannot go naked lay, so slippy! Will drop all the time 😝 Need some grip. The simple rubber/jelly case is grippy and slim, but no hinge protection, stand or MagSafe (but one of the cheapest cases available!). Found this one with MagSafe as well https://sg.shp.ee/tXVDHka
At the very least, you should use the stock casing but you can remove the stock front protector if there is no good third party screen protector that can fit the outer case nicely. That's what I am trying to drive at.

GSMArena tried it ;) Unless you think they are being paid off by honor for doing this
I think the fact that they even dare to advertise it like this instills confidence. Don't think Samsung or Google willing to try to do this type of marketing.

Yes, that's what I am trying to convey to those who worry about going caseless or even without a screen protector. If Honor dare to market their phone to such a degree of "durability"...why are we afriad to test out their claims? :D

Doubt Google Fold is as durable as Magic V3. Tonnes of YouTube videos showing how easily Google Fold cui under extreme test. Whereas V3 can even submerge under water for 47metres (the extreme depth, phone died after that)

Get Jerryrigeverything a Magic V3 to do those "torture" test like bending and scratching the outer screen to test the claim.

The proof is in the pudding...if Honor is truly confident with their foldable phones, everyone should sigh a relief. So far, there has been no negative news of the phone broken that I have come across. At least compared to Huawei, which received a lot of backlash on the durablity of their inner screen. Yes, I am talking about the Mate X5.
