Pixel fold can put in washing machine and tumble anotAs long as we want to go "full 360 protection", it will inevitably add some bulk to it. It unavoidable. Case in point is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. For the unitiated, while it is true that the Pixel is heavier than Magic V3 but if we go "naked", I have to say that Pixel is really not that bad. It is very well-balanced and the industrial design actually feel more robust and sturdy which translates to durablity in the long term compared to Honor Magic V3 which is very thin and we can't defy physics, such thinness will present some point of weakness at a certain part of the phone...where? I dunno at the moment. Only time will tell.
Look at the high failure rate of the laughable Huawi Mate XT Tri-fold...It is hard to find a third party case to protect the "exposed" inner screen. That phone really needs a full 360 protection compared to any foldables at the moment.![]()
Spare yourself some of these 1mm 3m tape..I like the default casing, only issue is install/uninstall sim card. I do this when I rotate my simcards for roaming purposes. Need to remove the from casing. After a while, think the tape will become not sticky.
I see that as more of a gimmick bordering unrealistic...We only see "what" Honor marketing team wants us to "see". Anyone enterprising enough to try Honor's claim and see whether you dare to "challenge" their claim. Who knows, the phone might actually survives the washing machine torture test. If not, you can sue Honor for false advertisement.Pixel fold can put in washing machine and tumble anot![]()
Can of course! Can turn on or not is another thingPixel fold can put in washing machine and tumble anot![]()
At the very least, you should use the stock casing but you can remove the stock front protector if there is no good third party screen protector that can fit the outer case nicely. That's what I am trying to drive at.Cannot go naked lay, so slippy! Will drop all the timeNeed some grip. The simple rubber/jelly case is grippy and slim, but no hinge protection, stand or MagSafe (but one of the cheapest cases available!). Found this one with MagSafe as well https://sg.shp.ee/tXVDHka
Is this tempered glass with curved edge?i already did custom cut screen protector at a shop.
Works fine.
Off-the-shelf one didnt work well.
If drop will chui right? Wrap can only prevent scratchesu should just wrap it....
after my honeymoon period with this phone, I will go naked.

GSMArena tried itUnless you think they are being paid off by honor for doing this
I think the fact that they even dare to advertise it like this instills confidence. Don't think Samsung or Google willing to try to do this type of marketing.
Yes, that's what I am trying to convey to those who worry about going caseless or even without a screen protector. If Honor dare to market their phone to such a degree of "durability"...why are we afriad to test out their claims?I think the fact that they even dare to advertise it like this instills confidence. That's right...Honor is literally "inviting" her customers to be rough with their phone, why are we still pampering it to such a degree...forget about what screen protector to get and go fully "naked" as the manufacturer suggested. LoLHONOR ADS GOT U COVERED!
believe in urself...
trust HONOR ADS....
lol
Get Jerryrigeverything a Magic V3 to do those "torture" test like bending and scratching the outer screen to test the claim.Doubt Google Fold is as durable as Magic V3. Tonnes of YouTube videos showing how easily Google Fold cui under extreme test. Whereas V3 can even submerge under water for 47metres (the extreme depth, phone died after that)
Idea, lol. Since I'm using it naked with just front tempered glass, will feedback here if I ever drop my phone and the outcome of it.Get Jerryrigeverything a Magic V3 to do those "torture" test like bending and scratching the outer screen to test the claim.
I think this kind front screen will be not as sensitive/ a bit bulky but protection gaogao.
yes, definitely add weight and i don't like the tg they used have those dot dot dot under bright sun light.I think this kind front screen will be not as sensitive/ a bit bulky but protection gaogao.
