Yup on gpay or g wallet. Quite hassle to do this additional verification especially when you are trying to balance yourself on a moving bus or when your hands are full. Btw, there is a disable verification button on transport payment on gwallet but it did not work for me.

This is the only setback I've experienced coming from a s24u.

Did not work as in they still require you to unlock using FP to verify? Can anyone else confirm this? Cause I just tapped yesterday didn't need to unlock, just wake screen.

Hi thanks for your reply. I did play with the settings there. Both apps have Auto-launch, Secondary launch and Run in background enabled. So not sure what else I can do.

At the "App Launch" page, top right hand 3-dots menu, select launch records.
Check the records for your apps giving u issues whether is it still being blocked.
If it's not being block, should be the app itself having issues and most likely not because of your phone.

Checked and none of the two apps are in the list.

Either u try and reinstall or the 2 apps are not waking up.

I presume u "Manually" allowed the 3 selection (Turning on)

few days back.. I also like u.. tap liao, still need FP to verify... just disable it in G-wallet.. all gd liao.. tap n go at Home Screen.
if ur dumb is the FP... just tap the on button, it will auto go in to home screen... now can tap liao

left 78% after deliberately taking a long journey to work. Screen on time probably about 1hr 30mins, hard to gauge since only samsung showing since last charge.

Not sure if i should disable smart battery capacity to get more battery life

As in I meant tap for terminal paywave payment tho. I have no issues with mrt buses. But at payment terminals every phone I use need to fp unlock before I can wave no matter how small the amount ever since google implemented the change. Last time can just wake screen tap.

Hello everyone!

I have been using the V3 for about a week now. Quite like it. I have been a Samsung phone user since 2012, and been using the Note and now the Ultra series. I am so used to the Samsung UI, but I also want to try other brands/foldables. And came the V3.

Generally, it's been a good experience so far with the V3. However, I hope they will bring in some features for future software updates. For example, it would be nice to double-tap the screen to lock the phone rather than pressing the power button.

I also have some issues with notifications, not sure if anyone can help. So far the two apps that I am having issues with is SimplyGo and MyTransport app. I do get the bus arrival alert notification for MyTransport app, but the phone doesn't vibrate. I checked all settings and vibration is turned on. Not sure if I missed out anything?

For SimplyGo app, I don't even get any notifications at all. Even though I have enabled notification. Again not sure what is wrong.

I also received the Honor watch as a free gift. Unfortunately it doesn't sync with the Health365 app. Anyone know how it can be synced?

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Issit because you already fp unlock when u wake screen since the fp is on power button? Lol. Coz I tried double tap on screen without unlocking doesn't work.

if u use for payment u always need to unlock

only for transport u can turn on screen and wave.. its a security feature prevent anybody use a wireless credit card machine go to your pocket and tap.. making u pay lol

in a way u are aware what u are paying for..

Ya if only they allow facial recognition unlock for verification. A bit mafan if that's enabled coz I need to lock back and unlock using FP.

no way.. Gpay is wake screen and tap.. transaction need to unlock and tap..

samsung the only one can tap without doing anything for transport.. but payment u still need to swipe up and authenticate the card before paying..

i think their camera is not up to security standard.. not those infra retina etc.. type so not secure enough.. people can use your photo to spoof as you and make payment...

Ya I guess if they have the 3D selfie like magic6 pro and 5 pro series probably more convenient. Could have just limit small transactions without verification like last time. I go buy a $1 potato chips also need verify and tap damn mafan.

wake screen without unlock only works on transport if i'm not wrong
