For Honor Standby Mode, those who had problems with it. Note that it only works when wireless charging in the horizontal position.

No setting is required to be done at Developer Mode. Just enable the "Home screen & style"

Are Kevlar cases thinner than most other cases? I am looking for super thin case or just to wrap it

this phone's front screen very hard to find a good screen protector that will stick properly not cause sensitivity issues due to the curvature.

Needs a custom cut screen protector.

If we are going to believe the marketing blurb on how strong and scractch resistance the outer screen is...we can actually forgo the screen protector if you want.

That's what I want to believe, so I'm going with their included back case and nothing else. Maybe if feel confident enough, I will use without case later on.
Huge difference compared to my previous Oppo Find N3 where I used a full protection case.

As long as we want to go "full 360 protection", it will inevitably add some bulk to it. It unavoidable. Case in point is the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. For the unitiated, while it is true that the Pixel is heavier than Magic V3 but if we go "naked", I have to say that Pixel is really not that bad. It is very well-balanced and the industrial design actually feel more robust and sturdy which translates to durablity in the long term compared to Honor Magic V3 which is very thin and we can't defy physics, such thinness will present some point of weakness at a certain part of the phone...where? I dunno at the moment. Only time will tell.

Look at the high failure rate of the laughable Huawi Mate XT Tri-fold...It is hard to find a third party case to protect the "exposed" inner screen. That phone really needs a full 360 protection compared to any foldables at the moment. :p

Agreed. No matter how durable the phone is, one bad drop will likely break something. But I feel a little more confident with Honor v3 compared to Oppo Find N3, for some reason. So I had protected the Oppo very well, but it is difficult to handle because it is top heavy and not well balanced.

Bought the skin from casekitty in AliExpress platform. Really very good quality skin. Finally used the phone naked, then realize how thin it is.
hows this protection so far? How much physical dmg its able to absorb? :giggle:

Cannot go naked lah, so slippy! Will drop all the time 😝 Need some grip. The simple rubber/jelly case is grippy and slim, but no hinge protection, stand or MagSafe (but one of the cheapest cases available!). Found this one with MagSafe as well https://sg.shp.ee/tXVDHka
