I was on s24plus and liked oneui, went for coloros and now oxygenos. Really liked oneui able to create folders on app drawer and keep my home screen clean. But something got to give. I can adapt to other os, hope magic os is good. I am already looking for cases and tempered glass on taobao for v5 and pad 10.

I saw in the samsung fold 7 thread, at 58% the charge is 16w only. For me, the battery and charging speed is important than os unless magic os is really crap...
Ya very headache... Need to weigh the pros and cons for each foldable... Each got their own strengths...

Have learning curve but if you rely on Samsung automation...then that one still nothing can replace.

I don't like white, brown looks ugly from photo. Gold looks nice but if black is available then I have another option.

Yeah oneui the routines is damn powerful...i miss that too

The Z F7 hinge is stiff. It can allow the phone to close and stay at any angle without slamming. The V5's hinge is not that stiff so it cannot hold the phone at low angle before it slams close. There's a YT video on this.

What I meant is that phone slamming is there if the hinge is not stiff. I don't think this is good in the long run

Can share the YT link? Can't find it in YT specifically comparing the hinge. 🙏

yup. Many years ago, when i was using samsung z flip 3, the selling point of Samsung's fold and flip of putting the flip/fold at any angle still stands. I tried in stores many other folding brands, all will slam open/close

Found a video here which shows closing or folding the v5 where it slams close, at the last part of the video

i think since v2.. also have this slam close ..

chinese fold all can't hold less than 45 to 30 degree..

Phone slamming is not an issue for me. I am migrating to Honor ecosystem with phones/tabs/laptops.

While it is true that samsung hinge is way better, but practically how many times do one keep the phone at that angle?

wondering if autonslamming shut helps minimise dust to enter if phone is not closed properly

Just cross 1 bridge then cannot buy liao..nearest is city square..
can be bought from JB, when Magic 5 Pro 1st launched in MY, lot of SG went there to pay the balance purchase, I was one of them too. Based on the shop salesman, mostly the order are bought by SG. lol

Note that time Honor is not available for sales in SG yet.
