Official Honor store on Shopee no more gold, I ordered from DV Tech which I think is an official reseller. Slightly cheaper - $1972. Bought another Honor tablet from them before no issue.

F6 and f7 share the same size of mAh plus V5 has a 700 mAh bigger capacity than V3 ,so I reckon the 5 lasts longer

Not V3 user. OG pixel fold user here (I am a huge fan of the passport form factor) but it seems like there wont be another model with the same form factor, so just hoot V5 now.

Edit: yes they confirmed got the same free tablet and pen gift

As another bro said, collect the $200 off tech gadgets voucher at the Shopee voucher page. I think DV Tech gave some of their own shop voucher to give a bit more discount.

Thanks guys. Bought the white color from DV. Saved $26 more and apparently shipping faster - 1 week compared to 2 weeks from honor official store.

after touching and comparing v5 and f7 again... have the following sentiments:

- f7 really feels lighter and more sleek. maybe because of v5's massive camera module.

- f7 crease is less obvious to the touch, but both are visible from an angle. v5 crease is deeper when brushed across with fingertip

- both have similar rubber border thickness. just that f7 has sharper corners so looks more premium. besides the rubbery border there's another black border on the inside. v5 black border seems to be thicker around the screen.

- v5 is really made to curve around all edges and corners, whereas f7 is sharp edges and corners everywhere. as a result v5 feels 'wider' and fatter (eg. the spine)

- camera wise, I think both pale in comparison to 1" sensor phones like 15 Ultra. both already struggling at 10x under indoor lighting. I guess it's the sensor sizes. It looks worse on f7 (when zooming in).

Yes same 24/25 July. Seems like 23 July is the official Launch when people can collect their phones from the agent. I saw it on carousell lite mobile.

Just touched both at nex challenger. Newbie to foldable phone. The crease on f7 is shallower but when I view YouTube and browsing on both phones, I cant notice the crease. Both are visible when you try to look at it from different angles. But when I settle into daily use, I think this is ain't a huge issue for me.

When folding the v5 the slam issue really isn't an issue for me too, I just close it gently. For me, I take good care of my mobile, just a personal habit.

If using both phones naked without case, the f7 is a little difficult to unfold.

I didn't test the camera since I'm just a aim and shoot, non photographer.

Only the brown is available for demo at nex challenger, courts don't have v5, the honor store don't have v5 for demo too

I'm on the fence
Smallest battery size on F7 is fine, the charging really puts me off though it is using a 1/1.3" sensor
Thicker bezels and 1/1.56" sensor are the reasons holding me back to get V5

Why the comparison with bar phones???
So between the two, which has a better pic taken?

are you comparing the main camera sensor (200mp for f7 vs. 50mp for v5)? was trying to search the internet for clues on the sensor size for the v5... the only publicly known sensor size is 1/2" for the 64mp telephoto... how do you know the main camera for v5 is 1/1.56"?

I'm using bar phone... so of course when transiting to foldables, will need to see how big the gap is... whether I can tolerate the drop in quality...

from my limited time testing the cameras, v5 camera takes better shots. I tried to use the full 200mp main camera (no zoom) and then pinch zoom in on the f7, it's no better (or should I say, worse) than the v5 telephoto (dedicated optical zoom).

I'm also sitting on the fence... whether want to spend $2k on a foldable rn or wait for the price to drop later this year... my 15 Ultra is only around 3 months old.
