I gave up.
Since I have manageable active and archived chats, I manually updated them with the right names and nos.
I deleted a few duplicates as well

WhatsApp contacts all screwed up but contacts in Contacts app all ok

Yes. Some updates depend on the SIM card to detect.

do those with WA problems come from other non-Honor phones?
i wonder if this problem will occur if my backup files come from Honor V2

Anyone got recommendation for screen protector for the exterior screen? First day use already scratched it by putting 2 phones in same pocket.. tried to fold open the phone and fingernail accidentally removed the screen protector and now got dust inside see liao very gaowei :(

So far i noticed for microsoft outlook have to do this > app info > battery usage details > launch settings > "uncheck manage automatically" > leave the bottom 3 enabled (auto-launch,secondary launch, run in background)

Once this is done then getting notifications, otherwise it behaves like in china rom, only when you launch the app then get notifications.... new email coming in wont appear in your lock screen as notification. behaving like a zombie app.

Playing Wuthering Waves with default settings 60fps... quite shiok as per various reviews only a bit of heat concentrated around the camera area.. palms holding the other side is totally cool and comfortable...
