Maybe manually lower the exposure value in the meantime??

I'm looking at my settings now.. dual screen mode is toggled on as well.. can see 5x6 for outer and inner screen..are you updated to the latest firmware?? Maybe play around with the settings a bit .

I can get 5 x 6 on the outer screen, but when I pull up the drawer to see all the apps (I use 'drawer' instead of 'standard' under home screen style), the apps are sorted in 4 rows instead of 5 rows (or columns).

not sure if it's a bug or is it like this for all Honor phones?

Having 5 rows allow me to see more apps at once as I scroll down...

My bad missed the drawer part...I think their drawer layout is buggy.. u can't launch an app from taskbar mode with that layout.. I switched back to classic..

Went to m1 shop and compare fold 7 and v5 side by side with a 4k hdr video. Same video..same max brightness...same color temp at vibrant.
The fold 7 is more vibrant and brighter than the v5.

Puzzling. Thought honor v5 is 5000 nits and brighter?

Anyway..v5 had a better deal with my contract..so just buy it. 950sgd.

5000 nits may be a certain spot of the display only, not the whole display.

Even my s23 ultra looks vibrant and brighter than the v5 I just bought haha..

anyone knows how to terminate / stop some of the Honor system notifications?

the phone keep asking me every few hours to 'setup the phone' by restoring from some backup... but I setup the phone from scratch instead.

how to tell the phone that I do not want to restore from any backup? When I click 'skip' it'll still prompt me again after a few hours.

The features in that update I think we got it during official launch rite.. now just waiting for aug security update lo..

Don't have..tho the front SP quite cui recommend to replace a better one..camera it's up to u.. maybe can get those with holes so that cam quality not affected..

Coming from Samsung phones, I normally buy spigen cases which are affordable and good.

Cant find good brand honor v5 cases though. Got any to recommend?

I don't use case can't be of much help lol.. the case that came with the phone is quite good tho.. integrated stand ..

on top of this, I'm also receiving system warning notifications about some apps draining the battery (e.g. whatsapp). is there a way to turn off such notifications?

quite annoying (although the intention is good).
