on top of this, I'm also receiving system warning notifications about some apps draining the battery (e.g. whatsapp). is there a way to turn off such notifications?

quite annoying (although the intention is good).
For the restore backup you just go inside skip everything to complete can alr..as for the app.. go battery in settings toggle off warning for power consuming app..

thanks! I have turned off 'Power consumption alert'. however, for the restore backup notification, I tried to skip everything but it still ask me to select a location to restore (which I don't have one). there's no option to close or skip that step...

also,
any idea why the charging still go above 80% when I had already turn on 'Smart chaging' and 'Smart battery capacity'?

how do I stop it from charging above 80%?

I don't have that restore issue tho.. for the 80% I read it from V3 thread it means the battery will show 100% but based on 80% capped capacity.. not sure if that's the case for V5.. I've turned it off since after trying a while lol..

sorry ah, so just to confirm with all v5 users... the battery will always charge up to 100% but it's actually not '100%' but 80%?

Smart charging - ON
Smart battery capacity - ON

It will have to learn your charging pattern then "auto" turn on battery pause @ 80% when AI feel it need to be paused.

Can anyone share the features of Honor's private space? My use case is that I typically set up two different spaces to separate my personal life from my online business. My main profile will be my personal profile, while the other profile will be for my online business, and these two profiles shouldn't interact with each other. The photo gallery should also remain separate.

Does anyone know if I install some apps only on the secondary profile, will the battery consumption of those apps appear under my main profile? Also, by looking at the settings, does anyone know if my phone has a second profile?

Oppo did a good job with this by allowing access to different profiles using different PIN codes, and in terms of battery consumption, you can't see the battery usage of apps installed on another profile. Additionally, the private space option can be disabled so it doesn't show on the main profile, ensuring that no one will know. Samsung worst, will even show the app battery consumption on main profile.

Guess there's some bug. Never seen it once where it stopped around 80%. Always straight to full. Been using for about a month so there's plenty of time for it to learn my usage pattern. No such issue on my vivo though.

Not sure of V5, but confirmed I encountered it on my M5P/M7P/V3.

This is nothing new for Sony users, as it already existed way before the famous Huawei era.

any good front SP to recommend? go handphone inspiration?

idk why but after just a few days already got some faint scratches on the SP... and there's a speck mark like kena hit by a pen or sharp item...

the original SP is very smooth though. not sure if there's a similar one out there (which is more scratch resistant).

both parallel space and private space will have its own "OS", which doesnt interfere with your main profile. though parallel operates more like a OS in OS, where you can pull up both parallel space profile and main profile side by side.

if you want different pin or fingerprint access, then private space is more suitable for you.

parallel space use the same pin and fingerprint to access, just by using your 2 fingers to zoom in to activate.

parallel space also appear in the battery consumption.

private space has an option to remove any traces of settings from the main profile. and the settings will only be accessible from the private space to reactivate it.

Alright, thanks for sharing, bro. I'm now considering switching from the Oppo Find N5 to the V5, but I'm not sure if it's a wise choice. I'm just hoping to get a better camera, and I also have an Honor wireless charging dock that can charge the phone faster. With the Oppo, I'm not using the original charger because I have a GAN charger on my desk, so I only get about 25W charging speed.

I'm not so sure V5 camera is very much more significant compared to N5.
