Yup. The error randomly occured for me. Sometimes it happens when I switched from the inner to outer screen, sometimes it happens when I use other apps then resume Netflix. Was really annoying for me. Restart and it solves it for awhile before it came back.
I had this case, the front cover comes with a tempered glass but this case is very heavy.I dun have a Taobao account...Based on google search, this is the image of the case.

Honor's warranty is pretty awesome!!! It has been confirmed that Singapore customers will enjoy the same perks as Malaysia.
Just need to pay a small labor fee (about S$26+) for "unlimited" screen replacement during the warranty period. Worry-free? If so, why are do we need to baby this phone. Might as well use it "naked"...and test out Honor's so-called "worry-free" warranty.
The local distribution and service centre run by third party company...did they give you an eta of the sp? If not, better to get other SP instead..I went to Honor Service Centre @ PS last week... the guy says no stock for the factory pasted SP (exterior). asks me if I want to pay instead for a 3rd party customed cut SP... I said no thanks.
say will call me when got stock. till today still no call.
if any of you happen to pass by... can help chase or ask them
not sure why such a new phone already no stock for a simple thing like exterior SP... or are they just trying to avoid replacing the SP for free?
no eta... the service quite sloppy tbh. the guy just took down my number on a piece of paper and said he'll call me when the stock comes.

Thanks for the update...this is indeed "fishy". I recalled V3 and V5 screen size is different. Give Honor the benefit of doubt that the V5 is a "new" phone and the factory is ramping up the production of these "new" SP. I may be dropping by Plaza Sing next week. I only know that TelecChoice Int'l Pte Ltd (TCI) is the authroised distributor for Honor devices sold in Singapore. Maybe can drop them an email to find out more.
I have checked with my source who in turn checked with his "source". His "source" description fits what Honor (Malaysia) is doing...at least to my understanding.

Yes, it is a 3rd party SP. I think Honor's original SP is fine except it attracts lint at some degree but otherwise I like the "feel" of it. I'm not sure about this Richment SP but do tale note that the phone has a curved screen on the right edge and usually tempered glass screen will have issue sticking to the edge. It tends to fail after prolonged use. Unless you are going to use a front case.
Who is ur source tho?? I checked with honor Singapore official just a few seconds ago they confirmed no screen protection warranty like Malaysia (I also verified the same before I bought the V5 in July)...
If "your" source says he is right...then we will take your version as the truth. Forget my version. Frankly, no one really knows which is true UNTIL some poor soul try it out.
