but on my vivo x 80 pro which is a global rom, totally no issues with any app's notification. so for those considering to buy the global funtouch os vivo x fold 5 is a better choice. no need to deal with missed notifications.

as for the fold 5 atomic work bench, i quite like it. however if only the main app display area could be a bigger screen fit, if you watch youtube, alot of space (upper and lower) ends are not fitted full screen. thats a waste of the big inner screen while in atomic workbench interface.

I think China ROM battery life is better because they kill many background apps and notifications may be missing or delayed or some apps don't work as expected (e.g. auto sync or auto upload with cloud-based apps).

Global ROM seems to suffer a bit from battery life because of the notifications and background processes.

That's my experience with China ROM (Oppo X6 Pro) and Global (Xiaomi 15 Ultra).

In fact my 15 Ultra doesn't really last more than a day... can lose 5% overnight alone.

Possible.. or OS optimization... Most reviews put Fold 5 battery life as not bad only due to its 8 gen 3 chip...

Yup overseas if go back hotel or got charging point charge 10-20 mins fill up a significant % then back to travelling haha...

Another issue.

If you see FB on the outside screen and when you unfold the FB app sometimes don't appear on the inner screen. Watch at 6:19

Wonder if this affects other apps as well? :rolleyes:

Simi built in ai chip? Should be the neural engine in the 8 elite soc. Haha.

Saw this review, pretty user centric. At 5:45, he swipe up to app drawer, the apps are in folders. Magic os 9 can create folders in app drawer? Or this is only for China rom?

The phone mentioned is a 5820mAh battery so should be a global set

Play the demo unit at JB city square honor shop..got 3 screens scroll. Need use quick gesture layout to arrange it.

Got see which version of magic os9 it is running? Weird that sg demo all no quick gesture layout option even if you try searching
