The screen looks very very good, the color is vibrant and natural.

Was deciding between OnePlus and this and the OLED is one of the main reason I picked Honor in the end

I have had the Chinese 1tb set for a few weeks. Honestly the local promo during 9.9 with bundled keyboard and pen was fantastic value. I would have waited for the local set if I knew it was launching on our shores so fast.

Honor has put in a very nice OLED screen here, even better than the one on Samsung's flagship tablet. This screen can get crazy bright, has buttery smooth 144hz refresh rate, and a very high 4320 PWM flicker rate. Whereas the Samsung Tab S9 Ultra has only 240hz PWM, which is rather bad for low light reading. Charging is very fast, I also tested with a 3rd party PD/QC charger and it works fast too . The chipset is not the fastest for gaming, but if your use case is mainly media consumption and regular browsing and light productivity, then this is the tablet for you.

Does the screen looks narrowly in portrait mode? Using the Samsung Tab S7 wifi so I find it’s too narrow for me. Much prefer OnePlus aspect ratio

Looks ok to me. I frequently use it portrait mode for reading articles etc

The aspect ratio is 3:2, what is the S7's aspect ratio?

It seems the battery uses up quite fast and the tablet feels warm at the back.

Not sure if this is normal or not.

Tablet use for browsing or streaming only. No gaming or running other power intensive apps..

brightness at 20% (the screen is so bright), dynamic refresh rate up to 144hz,
AI features , eye care, dark mode, defocus
pen, kb all on and connected.

How fast is the battery drain when browsing or streaming?

S7 Wifi ratio= 16:10. So it’s quite narrow. Of cos it’s good for watching videos cos it will be without the black horizontal bars.

I don't recall having quick battery drain issues. Maybe the CN rom is more frugal in power consumption.

MagicOS is ok , quite clean and little bloatware

The Samsung equivalent would be S9+ in terms of screen size?
