Any idea why the apps like Lazada or taobao don't have tablet mode in landscape , cant seems to find the setting.

The app doesn't support it
But you can go to settings > large screen features > app extender > turn on for lazada to get a better size

Whats the diff...i did a compare with magicpad2 ...cant spot any difference.

By the way...any way to make youtube app for magicpad 2 output as highest resolution , always manually need to go into advance for each video quite irritating. Already try setting and put all to higher picture quality , but always spot it trying to cheat me by using 720p

apparently specs are the same but it is cheaper so we all got scammed into buying the magicpad 2?

Unless it’s release globally …. China set are generally cheaper but got to go through all the hassle of removing bloat and installing google services etc

The GT Pro doesn' advertise 8 subwoofers like the Magicpad. 2. Perhaps The speakers quality is different

I think it's very value for money with pen n kb thrown in. The OLED screen is great and sound is very good too.

Notebookchcecks review state 1 os upgrade and 3 years security patch. That the holding part for ppl to purchase this tablet.

Yes it's good. Only minor downsides I can think of are no microsd slot and the book cover is a bit heavy. Otherwise, it's got a good and bright OLED screen, high PWM flicker rate, very slim bezels, best tablet sound (surround effect) that I've heard, decent chipset, fast charging (quite a bit faster than Samsung), and decent battery life.

Can you share experience about using this tablet? pro and cons? How do you find it to use for note taking, drawing etc? Heavy ?
The honor comes with cover cum keyboard and pencil. Did you buy a different cover for it?

So far so good.... Really enjoyed the great OLED screen and the sound is also very good.
Speed is more than enough for me as I don't game, so mainly for surfing, media consumption, streaming video and audio etc

The included pen and kb is very useful. First time user of such a combo and must say it replaces my laptop for all the lightweight tasks, my laptop is seldom used since I got this tablet.

I don't use the pen for any heavy duty note taking or definitely no drawing, I use it more as an extension of my finger lolzz

The cons are minor, e.g. battery drain around 8~10% per hour of usage, may be quite standard for such devices, dunno fo sure. Another one is that some apps are not optimized for tablet screen, a bit annoying, but this should be an app issue.

The tablet itself is thin and light but with the kb, it does add a bit of weight and heft but nothing too extreme. The kb itself is nice to type with but its weak spots will be obvious when you compare with other brands', ie. Lack of trackpad (trackpad user here) and only 1 hinge position.

I initially want to get a 3rd party cover that swivels for use in portrait mode, but so far removing it from its cover and hold in my hand is still manageable.

Overall, no major complaints given the good pricing.

After 1 month of usage, it seems my pen can't charge anymore. Place at top of tablet, and rotate many positions etc but still can't charge
Not a big deal since i use it like 5% of the time, but then went online to look for a usb magnetic charger for the pen and it costs $78?!?!? Its the huawei pen charger and says can charge honor pen...

I'm considering between this tablet and the OnePlus pad 2.

Would you all consider paying an extra 80 bucks to get the honor tablet instead of the OnePlus pad 2 (after adding on the keyboard and pen)?
