Maybe tonight or later. :s12::s12::s12:

Anyone tried the EMUI desktop mode able to achieve 4K output? Not sure whether its the adapter or phone issue but i am only able to get 1080p output.
Don't recall reading 4K is supported.

Hmm Mate 10 with the same Kirin 970 is able to output at 4K 60fps even if the spec did not say so.

I think it probably has something to do with the limitation of my current adapter. Shall get this so called 4K adapter with PD to try.

You got the idea from the title of the video or did you actually see it outputting in 4K?

It doesn't output in 4K. Maximum is screen resolution.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76379821&postcount=6

The video you linked is recorded in 4K. And he's using Chrome to play the 4K video. I can do that on my Chrome browser linked to a 1080p monitor as well, doesn't mean it's displayed in 4K.

Saw him mentioned that he was able to output at 4K 60hz during 9:20 so i took his word.

Thanks for clarifying and saved me $30 :s13:

Its huge, no 2 ways abt it. Gonna peek out a little from your standard pockets. Use at home as a tablet then its fine.

Went from a Note 8 to this, it's big, but manageable. But depends on preference. I would say it's too big for most.

Just updated to 123. Found some issues with the phone.

Netflix is not playing in 1080p or HDR even if the phone has Widevine DRM L1.

Some apps like Hearthstone is recognized as tablet mode and not mobile mode.

Google Pay not working.

As usual, a good reminder that updates sometimes are sh*t. :(
