How long does it take for a reshell?

Mine took 4 weeks with UM...absolutely love the fit!

but do note that this is what they "said". but if its true, its up to us to decide. Anyway, not trying to ruin their rep. Just that currently I have 2 pairs of IEM still with them Rooth and UM....

'Backlog' Do note that this is what treoo and null audio said. They can wait till enough orders and send together to save cost, or just use ems to save cost as well. Well, to and for china takes around 3 weeks already. One of the reason to just deal with the reshelling service provider straight, you will not get smoked by the middle person.

My Elpis is from Treoo which had waited for close to 8 weeks soon, while UM is from Stereo which I had more confidence in

Anyway, if not for the promo or freebies. I would had ordered directly from UM myself.

hope your um experience will be a good one. i got my um last time within 4-5 weeks. alot of forumers got it less than that.

On the other side, so far i have never seen anyone who got their customs within 5weeks with null audio or treoo. lol

5 weeks for reshelling with stereo.
3 weeks + shipping (around 4~5 weeks also) for reshelling direct for me.

Not bashing la... Null Audio service is not bad la. Talk to kelvin himself and he is pretty patient. But its more the turn around time for reshell or custom. Especially when Rooth and UM share same lab.

Worried that that Null Audio claims that Rooth side is focusing on Elpis production and will affect UM side as well.

Anyway Elpis is late on delivery liao. this week the first batch receiving liao, my one clear shell also no news yet.

I think in business side of view, I think punctuality in delivery of goods is very very important. As consumers we all know custom will take 6 - 8 weeks but anytime longer I felt its too much...

actually so far I think waiting time is the turnoff. Anyway its only 2 weeks since I ordered my Miracle thru Stereo. Will keep update of the status.

Apparently they are done in difference labs by different person. Workmanship wise also different, that's whoy price also different. Don't mix

I did not have the chance to go through each of the order schedule today and I am now stuck in the airport, flight delay lol.

I have talked to um/rooth boss on the order status issue and they are working with a software company to build a web app so everybody could track their order status with entry of their order number. A progress stage would be shown to customer.

I would receive next shipping manifest soon, and I will check whether yours are inside. Meanwhile do check on the updates in the Elpis thread on the changes.

How UM arrange their work schedule is their issue. However I think all UM/Rooth orders will be a bit slow recently. It is already quite packed before we sent in our Elpis order and it is due to large order from Japan. Compare to their quantity, our orders are like ants versus elephant.

Yes, a lot of times its the waiting without knowing what u waiting for is killing the consumers....
