how many kitchen knives u need?

how many do u folks have at home?
was shopping for a magnetic knife holder and saw this pic

Minimally 2, a main chef knife or santoku (different style of cutting), then a smaller petty knife around 12cm to 15cm for cutting smaller item like fruits. Then the 3rd or 4th knife got to depends what else you cut... for example if you bake your own bread with hard crust.. or even pork belly with hard crust.. then you might want a serrated knife for slicing bread or the sio bak. Then if you need to slice up turkey or any big piece of roast meat during festive season, you might need a slicer paired with a meat fork. Or even a cleaver if you need to chop up a whole chicken or duck after cooking or prayers.

Sometimes the serrated blade if long enough can double up as a slicer also.

I noob only own one cleaver.

which I use to cut a variety of foods, including meat, vegetables, and fruit.

me ain't even a chef to begin w/
not even a master of scaling fishes nor chopping up meats

just anyhow chuck into the utensils holder can alrd :s22:
Also can lar.. but at least add a blade guard to prevent cutting yourself when reaching for it.:sick:
