I've only been overseas twice in my life, and it wasn't to JB, nor were they for pleasure or shopping.

Fact is almost everything there has gone up..
JB maybe save 10-20% only… not worth the effort anymore. With the increase in everything except Apple and orange from 1 July… guess the gap will be about 5% cheaper.

When I go JB, it is NOT always to shop groceries.
Usually to makan.

But can buy sneaker shoes.

Ask 2 million SG adult males.
They will tell you it is about Bluewave and similar. Plus nightlife. Plus massage.
Not shopping at Aeon Tebrau.
