How to register the intel CPU processor warranty?

Just bought a CPU + motherboard and was wondering How to register the intel CPU processor warranty? There doesn't seem to be a warranty card inside. Online registration ? how many years is the warranty vaild for? Sorry if noob qn. thanks.
