Me too. It will take me quite a while to sort things out.

Usually after you throw… then out of sudden you need it

separate into piles - throw, KIV, donate, sell

I bought those ikea box $6 or $8 (I fogot), I pack into box. Also use black plastic bag to throw whatever I can.

Especially if a person like me has attachment, hard to throw away things not use for months..

Actually if not used for months likely if someone threw it away for you then you also forgot about it.

Get someone else to help you throw.

- start by STOP buying new things.
- use the stuff you already have at home.
- throw away things that you don't use for past 1 year.

Pretend in your mind your "throwing" is sending it to someone else for "storage" only.

1) Start with your wallet
- receipts, cards etc

2) Desk and drawers
- only need 1 set of stationary.

3) Clothes - if you never wear for more than 6 months. Put it aside for donation or throw after 6 months as you unlikely to wear them ( of course winter wear those depend)

4) Old broken stuffs
Be Merciless if it's broken or not fixed. Throw

Maybe do in stages.

Eg tidy up. Put the things don't use into a box. The things you use put in drawers and cupboards.

Boxes filled cover up. Store away store room or somewhere.

Then after kitchen tidy already then the boxes you have is kitchen seldom use stuff. Then maybe 3 months later if never needed to take anything from the boxes. Just wholesale throw the boxes. Do not open the boxes to look see again. Just throw.

It is the memories that are more important than the physical thing. Hold on the the memories. Not the physical manifestations

Throw far away or stuff it into the rubbish chute. Do it when she's not around. Proven to work. Lol.
