anything more constructive other than s/p talk for the last 2 weeks, relating more to usage, eg tweaking keyboard to go auto-show/hide?

Besides s/p, one more thing I add on. Does anyone feel that sometimes when you wan to close the browser by pressing the red X. It couldn't cancel?

Happens twice for me tho.

Some branded android tablets at that cost. it's battery life not suitable as e-book. No audio issues (cracking sounds whatsoever) for me on earphones.

HP Stream 7 32GB Windows 8.1 Tablet | Lazada Singapore

SGd$138, dunno whether include the one year office 365, better deal than getting from Amazon, tempted lol

Order the HP Stream 7 from Lazada at $118 with $20 voucher (minimum $100 spend discount using OCBC card) :) The tablet is pretty good with Windows and it comes free with Microsoft Office 365 for 1 year. Definitely a good bargain.

Just got it hours ago.

The 1gb ram really killer. Can't install any android emulator.
Not running anything also 1/2 of the ram being used. :s22: :s22:
Earphone jack also very epic, the noise is very bad with iem, bad with earphone, but when used with hard to drive headphone, I can't hear any of the noise.
Seems like the earphone jack is actually meant for big headphone... :s22: :s22:

Bought Touchme Gesture Stuido from windows store, very useful
Experience so far still okay, stream 1080 movie from desktop works fine.
At least can play Nekopara, but graphic a little lag...

$99usd quite worth it to experience the window tablet hype.

Now just need to save up for Core m tablet later in the year. :s12: :s12:

Edit:15/1/2015
Okay, i've fixed nekopara lag issue. Apparently it's due to lack of directX, got to manual install from microsoft.
Now it's running smoothly. This make stream 7 excellent for my use, don't have to waste money on core m anymore. :s12: :s12:

Qoo10 - HP Stream 8 Tablet8 inches diagonal WVA IPS anti-glare multitouch-enab... : Computer & Game (non-affiliate link)

Seems like a good deal but very confusing - is this version able to support any form of SIM card or not? Their answer in the Q&A only confuses people more :o

I was the one who asked them.

For some reason they only show the responses and not the questions :s13:

By right, if you buy from HP online, it comes with a micro-SIM card as stated in the specifications: http://h20386.www2.hp.com/SingaporeStore/Product.aspx

From my conversation with the Qoo10 seller, they get their stock from a supplier which presumably gets their stock from HP Singapore. I would assume there is a micro-SIM card slot. But I wanted to confirm so I asked them. Suddenly they told me there wasn't a micro-SIM card slot.

So this confuses me as well. So I would assume there's no micro-SIM card slot at the moment.
