Trust me, you don't really want to work on microsoft office on a 7 inches device. I got Lenovo Miix 2 8 and it's already quite torturing for it. But anyway it should be able to run well enough. regarding live TV I have no answer since I don't really watch TV

Updated. Did a fresh installation, and installed all the 8.1 drivers from HP's website. Working perfectly.

Cortana works perfectly on it. Damn cool.
