Is there a difference in the quantity and free apps available between the US and Singapore store?

Thanks.

If u read thru the manual, got a few apps, like HP movies studio, can only be found free in US apps store. But due to location it is unable to load the movies.

Read at various forums that Touchpad has bad build quality, like loose volume buttons and more commonly, white spots/blotch on the screen and backlight bleeding issue.

Any bros experienced that on their Touchpad?

Appreciate your feedback, thanks.

4 of us bought it, none got the mention problem at all. The built is very good quality, as compared to my TFT. Which got dent, bleeding issue, charger low quality.

wow... Ubuntu. You guys really chiong finish.

My complain is the browser. Like chatting at facebook got me really frustrated. You all can try and see. Gmail on browser also making me almost nuts.
1 more thing is no Chinese input. Some of the ppt or doc files with Chinese char also cannot view.
Did you all try editing documents on the new QuickOffice. Tried editing excel and I wanted to just bang my head on the pad :s13:

For gmail, click the thing at the bottom right to choose normal html.

They will still post updates as time goes by...

Got a question, running Ubuntu is dual booting or what?

In a sense, yes, it's dual booting..

But in another sense.. start ubuntu within webos

bought the 16gb touchpad from a Forumer here at $250. I guess that's a steal as other ppl are paying more than $300. And yeah I overclock the touchpad and tweak a few stuff and now the touchpad becomes a very fast tablet, faster than the ipad2.its also very smooth with no more lags. The only complain I have is the lack of apps but for such a sleek, cheap tablet I can't complain. Going to install ubuntuu next :)

Nobody pay more then $150 for 16G version. Even those bough at $599 get a rebate from HP.

Any issues faced when o/c? Like heat or frequent hanging? I'm tempted to o/c too.. Still seems sluggish after installing preware

As for the Facebook and Gmail, they got special app to do that.

Facebook, just use the provided Facebook app.

Gmail, just use the provided inBox app.

No need to use the browser for these.
