Does this table explains correctly? Need Account C to "cover" the months where Accounts A and B are excluded. Or just move somewhere else outside HSBC every 3 months..

Coz last few cycles they tried to be too creative and made it 3 month long right?
eg Oct nov dec vs sep.

In any case there’s no much diff. If u were cut off because it was a 2 month cycle you would have gone to another bank anyway.

I made a mistake. The sms excludes those who did nov and dec. so unless there is 3 players need to use BTL to continue in Jan.

Think the CS going to have a lot of enquiries. Imagine u send the sms then they say you are considered registered but unqualified?? So u burn another 2 months??

The optimal strategy is always to rotate and park 360k+ into EGA to get ~2.7% (assume its the amt for Jan) + 1%, and keep the balance in either Maybank isavvy, CIMB starsaver, or SCB Esaver.

You brought up something new, glad i saw it.

For october 2024 they are giving interest for rolling 3 mths Oct to December, so it make sense for them to program the SMS such that December enrollment will exclude those who registered in Oct and Nov

However Nov and Dec promotion are for rolling 2 months only, so not sure why the SMS for Jan exclude Nov and dec. Its either a human error, or HSBC really decide to stop merry go round

Best to wait for T&C to come out and confirm with RM, but its a point worth monitoring for those rotating funds between 2 EGA
