Hows the battery life on the 10?
Depends on usage. For me, battery life is better than M9. Here is my 10 battery usage over 18 hours.
BT, Wifi, GPS all enabled.

Charging on the other hand is much faster than M9. GSam usually reports 2A++ current during charging.

Anyone has issue with reading ez-link or NETS FlashPay card?
My HTC10 can read NFC tags or using beam (to send thing via NFC), but just not reading the ez-link or Flashpay card....

You're not alone. Try searching using NFC as keyword in this thread for more info.

You are not alone. My HTC 10 can read for a few times and after that, the phone gave up and until now cannot read ez-link or flashpay card, sent in to the service centre also useless as the service centre claims HTC 10 NFC module got no problem but just cannot read the ez-link card or flashpay card.
Any one want to use phone to read ez-link card or flashpay card, please DON'T buy HTC 10. It is useless.

Chill guys and check the facts first. According to Singtel, its Dash app does not support ez-link payment using HTC 10.

However, Taiwan users said no problems at all using it to read NFC cards. Does it mean Singapore Service Centre is u..less and h...less?

FWIW, my HTC 10 can read my POSB FlashPay/Ezlink using Transit Card Reader app. A bit tricky, need to position the card chip along phone back near to the camera lens.

No problem with NFC transactions such as Android Pay or Dash though.

Sent from my mobile using GAGT

Hi guys, can I check with those in the know whether the demo set at WWP M1 is the HTC10? Slightly disappointed with the overall feel. Am currently using M8 and the10 seems to lose out.

Also to those with the phone, did HTC remove the auto aligning feature where it will re-align the text to fit in one page when we zoom in to a website.

Erm, most likely its the 10 if you saw a HTC on display.

I only have the chance(ytd) to check the 10 in our telco. Was at IMM and only saw the black version at M1(no sign of 10 at Singtel/starhub).
I would say e M9 has a classy exterior then the carbon grey 10; not sure about the other coloour though. But its damn responsive. lol
Will need to see topaz gold before deciding which set to purchase.

Blame Google, they had remove the text reflow feature on stock Android browser long ago, since KK actually. They blame the WebKit core "bloated" so they create another fork of WebKit call "Blink".

HTC had remove many of their custom apps in HTC 10, because some users--ironically, most aren't using HTC phone--criticize SenseUI was bloated. The HTC Browser is one of the victim, but you can still download the APK from the internet and install it yourself. Since it isn't officially supported, it can't be updated from playstore.

Bad news for HTC fan though, HTC version of Android stock browser will be discontinued from 2016 Nov 30th.

Thanks for the response guys. So in others I can still have the text re-flow feature by downloading the apk? Good, cos I really hate to scroll left n right when reading on my phone.
