This is from Singtel website. I did a quick check, LTE 1800 or 2600 means band 3 or band 7, these are in the US model specs as well. But, after checking the specs listed in HTC SEA website, it did include band 8.

I guess this means if import sets from US, can still use but only on band 3 and band 7. Does the sets bought from mobyshop include band 8?

Yes, I rmb the export set supports band 8.

Yeah. Can tell the top is high, bottom is low when you're listening close to the phone. Further apart the sound just blend in together. Hard to explain... But like for phone with bottom speaker you can tell the sound is from the bottom. On the HTC 10 the sound is like emanating from the whole front of the phone. Hahaha

Kinda hope they don't implement this for their iteration of Nexus this year.

I thought so too, until a friend bent his Z5 on the first day. Bend tests of the Z5 corroborated the very weak point near the power button.

A bit busy at work so not much time to post, but here are some camera shots.

HDR is good enough at detecting when to use it and when not to, but unfortunately the effect simply isn't up to par to what samsung and Apple has to offer. It's decent, but not great. Camera UI is simply enough, and while it may not be as quick as apple or samsung, it is certainly decent.

Night shots. Image quality i think will be up to personal preferences. both looks good enough for a smartphone to me.

One thing is the camera viewfinder refresh rate. When moving around the viewfinder in lowlight, the viewfinder is choppy. Not as choppy as the LG G5 though. Not sure how Samsung does it, but their refresh rate for the viewfinder is fantastic in lowlight.

Yeah. But can understand if it's like another bro here mentioned, that our market is simply not worth it. It's disappointing to say the least, but if doing this allows them to survive longer and keep making phones, I think still okay. Hopefully theyll be in better shape soon and start selling phones here again.

Hearing the rumours of Nexus being made by HTC worries me a little though. If they are the one making it, the chances of it coming to SG seems slim.

Or maybe it'll just be like the One A9. Just take a lot longer to come to SG, but eventually also come in.

HTC Q1 results are in: drastic revenue fall of 64%

HTC posted audited financial results for Q1 2016 today confirming the massive 64% drop in revenue year-over-year. Revenue for the period starting January 1 until March 31 was a catastrophic $463 million (NT$14.8 billion) compared to Q1 2015's $1.3 billion (NT$41.52 billion).

Operating loss for the quarter stands at $150 million (NT$4.8 billion) compared to a profit of $11.6 million (NT$360 million) for the same period last year.
