Anyone tried to read their EZLink / Flashpay cards using the NFC function yet?

On my set the NFC is very directional and sensitive, and requires careful placement of the card - it will refuse to read if I shift the card around, or rotate it 90 degrees! :s22:

how is it compare to htc beside the camera got improvement?

decided to go to S7 because of the camera, speed, always on screen, NFC ezlink, waterproof

still testing in progress.

sux that the "Apps" button is fixed to the lower right corner.
sux that now I have to PRESS the home button
missing the double tap to wake function

other than that, S7 is Really fast. build quality is good too.
trying to get used to touchwiz.

The ball is too expensive for them to pick up :)

My Taiwanese friend shared that HTC sold their factory late last year, and are rumored to be selling their HQ in Taipei to pool funds for an all out push in VR.. :s22:

I am not surprised that HTC will be shifting their focus towards VR and Vive.

I spoke to the HTC sales guy over the weekend at Tampines. The HTC10 will NOT be coming to Singapore. So basically get your sets online and ship it over

Why ever bother checking with the sales guy? Unless htc say no, else not accurate right.
Heck even lg said officially v10 not coming to sg in the end also sell in Singapore.

Sent from LGE LG-D855 using GAGT

A lot of people pestered LG to bring in the V10.

If you noticed, HTC is more f*** up than LG even deleting or ignoring their customers posts. It's like they already gave up. It's just silence, absolutely silence.

bro, me too. If can't wait, just order an export set. I've ordered mine. Waiting.....

but if you order the export set or buy from MobyShop, you won't get Uh Oh protection right? That's quite a turn off for me, I'm quite worried about scratching or dropping my devices, or getting a lemon, especially for such an expensive device.

btw are any of you getting any stutter or lag? A couple of folks at XDA reported some frame drops while scrolling, hope they are just exceptions. Also, the slower emmc storage may cause the htc 10 to be slower than its competitors in certain cases, so that is a downside as well....

But still, I really really like this phone, especially for its build and audio. just wish HTC will ship directly to Singapore soon. :(

hmm apparently so... but still there won't be any form of warranty if it were an export set, so if you are unlucky enough to get a defective device, then there's nothing you can do.... $900+ wasted...

Why not? If you purchased from US, you will get US uh-oh protection. Just need to ship back to US to RMA, so yes, you can do something.

International warranty?

for the people planning to get the HTC10 overseas, for example from Taiwan, would there be international warranty? If there's any problems, would we get access to the service centers in Singapore, or would we have to send the handset back to Taiwan?
