I guess for a lot of us here we're buying into the user experience. Sure, S7 might have slightly better battery, might have waterproofing and what not. But personally I feel that the user experience of HTC is much better than LG and Samsung, and that is why I remain a loyal HTC fan.

So yes, I will hope for the best that the 10 is coming to singapore

Android police has a nice review too. I'm using the s7 Edge and have used the LG G5 too. LG G5 cant make it if you ask me. I think HTC 10 will be a nice alternative to the S7 Edge for those who don't want a Samsung.

Can you elaborate on which areas LG G5 cannot make it?

My 2nd choice would be G5 so I read through the G5 thread. Saw a few problems like overheating until cannot touch while charging, corrupting mSD cards, gap/non flush chin, shaky/rattling buttons

Local telcos have been very reluctantly sell HTC phones, ever since their sales slumped few years back.

We look back, the only best seller flagship device is M8, nothing else.......

We need to accept the reality though.

HTC 10 / 10 Lifestyle may be the last flagship.......the company has been "bleeding" very badly

[Apr 20 UPDATE] From the latest email with HTC's local PR: "Conversations are happening now which could change the status of availability communicated last night", so keep your fingers crossed.

my guess is thru retailers. think telcos see no reason to sell htc phones liao. the m9 was a huge disaster imo.
Seems like HTC just don't have the resources for carrier testing and/or carriers simply have poor HTC sales and are reluctant to sell.

Retail will be good enough rather than have to buy from overseas and lose the local warranty.

The HTC flagship for the next half of the year will be the Google Nexus devices made by HTC, hopefully it will revive some interest for HTC..

Telcos should really take a look at the reviews of HTC 10 online before jumping to conclusion. I think the sales will not be as bad as it seems. Hell there were a lot more criticisms in regards to LG G5 compared to this phone. Why they more willing to sell LG G5 is beyond me

If I get the HTC 10 unlocked from the US, will I get slower 4G/LTE performance in SG due to mismatch of the bands?

G5 is really not my cup of tea, tried to use the phone.. Omg LG ui really fugly to the max and unlike the Nexus 5x, the fingerprint scanner must press leh..

Wrong thread? Anyway, if you have read/watched the review, it's just a tap, like N5X/N6P, no need to press the button anymore unlike V10.

It shouldn't, because SG uses bands 3 (all),7(all),8(only ST) and it supports all but 8.

I also tempted to get from USA, but I usually have no luck and require warranty.
