Look at the dates of those power of 10 posts... After the launch on April 12 they went MIA and didn't respond at all.

They deleted my post when I asked if the news reporting that 10 is not coming to SG is true:(

HTC lost the race since late 2014. It's time for you guys to look elsewhere, maybe to a brand which is gonna replace HTC in Singapore.

Incorrect, it has lost, hence the more reason to support it, not to abandon it. No point to support well-known brands.

If HTC does not see Singapore as its target market, there is also no point to support them.

I believe many here are supporting a good product, and not a brand.

Doesn't matter really. Nowadays, anyone can get anything from anywhere if they want it. Good example would be the moto/nexus, or the more recent example will be Mi5, SG is not their target market "yet", but ppl still bought them. Ppl would/will still buy them even though SG is not their target market.

I had been dabbling in wide variety of phones past 8 years n it's availability locally is unimportant to me. I will buy from HK, Taiwan, UK n China if I like it
I am not too concerned about warranty n to date has not been a serious issue for me
I am getting this HTC 10 from Taiwan and it should be in my hands this weekend

Deleting a Facebook post asking about launching HTC 10 simply means they still deciding whether to sell in Singapore.

Hard truth simply means they don't want to bring in, because Singapore telcos doesn't want to sell HTC phones.

aiya, you all call Wayne Tang of HTC lor, he is the Product Manager.

Ask him whether will bring in 10 or not........He will NEVER give you all answer one. He very 安分守己,won't reveal one.

Unlike previous sales person will give hints, which you will know one

StarHub and SingTel ended up selling the new Lumias though. If they're willing to sell those, I find it unlikely that they won't sell HTCs. Then again, the Lumias launched in Singapore 6 months after the US release...

I can see why HTC don't really focus on Singapore market. Try look around you in the bus/train, how many Apple/Samsung devices are around you. Even if HTC 10 is a success, people mind are set to just Apple or Samsung, so how successful can HTC actually be in the end? I'm using A9 now and I felt like i'm the only "rare breed" around now. haven't see any other A9 so far.

That makes you very unique haha! Last time I get a Xiaomi because during that time it isn't that common and I always feel 'special' when all I see around are either Samsung or iPhone, but now it's very common to see many Xiaomi's around :s13:

It's not about supporting well known brands. It's about which brand will take on HTC shoes. By the looks of it now it seems like
Oppo will be the one. But who knows for sure?

No doubt the HTC 10 is a good phone. Judging by current reviews & HTCs track record.

But a good phone will still disappear if there are not enough buyers. After all, it's a still game of dollars & cents.

This is really bad PR FOR AN ESTABLISHED COMPANY. not as if they are new in the market. Come & go as pleased.
