Loving my used HTC 10 that i bought from somebody from Carousell. Warranty is not an issue, as I rooted it as soon as I reached home.

Wanted to run it on stock but noticed one issue:

Updating and downloading apps on play store took quite a while.

After rooting and installing custom firmware, the problem disappeared. Battery life increased.

For those holding out, don't... faster go buy. Moby shop @ far east now selling 858 brand new.

Don't say bo jio :s13:

Gonna get it from Mobile Hardware at Burlington Square later.. if get export set can buy local warranty when it officially comes?

HTC phones usually problem free.. but also depends on user. The htc phones that I have used never gave me problems.. if hardware problem... suck thumb.. if software.. root it :s22:

Bro.. don't ask me. Ask Xda Developers :)
Actually the stock rom is already very close to AOSP..

But idk how to judge if it's well supported lol. Like there's no yardstick to compare with.

Uhmm.. If you're not really into such things, then my advice would be don't meddle with me.
For me a yard stick to compare would be if the phone has more than 5 ROM threads, considered good le.
Some is quite obvious lack support don't even have 2 threads.

My TW set seems to have NFC issues....can't get the MyEZLink Mobile app to detect my EZlink card. Anyone facing NFC issues too?

Yup, NFC issues have been widely reported on overseas forums. NFC on the 10 is directional and weak, and it's also intermittent with NFC combination cards.
Basically, phone-to-card is a no-go, while phone-to-reader is mostly usable.

The NFC sensor is located near the top of the rear camera LEDs, so use that part to contact the reader when u do contactless payments like Android Pay.
