Just received my Carbon Grey from Lazada yesterday. Having come from the S7, I have to say that it's waaay better in terms of the design. Just giving some brief impressions from about half a day's use. These 3 main points are particularly superior to the S7 IMO:
1. HTC10's metal back against S7's fingerprint magnet. The HTC10's chamfered edges really gives off a masculine vibe, and is much more ergonomic than the S7, whose rounded edges makes it slippery as hell to handle. Now I know what people mean when they say the HTC10 is a more "masculine" device than the S7. Even though the HTC10 is a bigger device than the S7, I found much easier to handle the HTC10.
2. Capacitive home button of the HTC10. No brainer when you need to navigate menus and general operation of the phone. The S7's physical home button is clumsy as heck compared to the HTC10's capacitive home button.
3. Which also brings me to the fingerprint scanner of the HTC10. Damn impressive and fast. Don't need to power on the screen first, unlike the S7. Much much more accurate than the S7's too. The S7's fingerprint scanner is just fail.
So far, the only drawback I can observe is that the phone gets rather hot when charging. Perhaps that's due to the metal body, but it's quite concerning.
