The Nillkin that I have not full screen, maybe I bought the wrong one. waiting for another brand now GOR or GBR something like that.

my s6 is like that after sticking a cheapo temper glass, leaving a tiny gap of 2mm to 3mm at all the side. i think maybe now all tempered glass are all not full screen?

i did chat with the operator for nillkin, they did higlight to me all the H, H+PRO, PE all will not cover the full screen for 10. leaving a gap of about 2mm at all sides.

My first TG from moby is almost full screen, but I changed to Nillkin because not so good after few day of use as it is not "smooth" any more. Nillkin is better but cover less area. With iceview case, Nillkin one easier to use so I still looking for "full" screen one.

i will still use a case to protect it. so after insert in the case, the 2mm gap should be gone?

Bought the Spigen Neo Hybrid, its good, pair with the 10 well. but I find it added too much bulk at the sides.

I remove the side layer and it looks/feel more manageable.

Been using M7 with thin TPU case for over 3 years, never had my phone dented in any way. I hope Spigen can make another model with thinner protection as I find the 2 layer design add too much bulk. I do know they have thin fit but that one is overpriced locally, >$25. May wanna try the Rugged Armor later.

BTW, I bought some cheap tempered glass from qoo10, it looks so damn ugly I wonder why would anyone use it. it can't adhere to the curve edge and I had a hard time trying to make it stick. worst of all, it get smudge immediately after clean.

I bought the Orzly® - 2.5D Pro-Fit Tempered Glass which was highly recommended in XDA forum, read the thread for more info. With shipping its £12.99 or about S$25, waiting for it to reach...

I am getting some micro usb to Type C adapter from taobao, if you wish, I can spare you some at cost (probably about $1 to max $2 a piece after freight). not sure about the quality though. Bought 2 adapters from SLS they are working just fine.

Will be here maybe in another 5 to 6 days time. PM me if interested.

Very nice of u bro! Appreciate it! My colleague passed me his extra piece liao. I'm good for now :)

UPDATE - Restoring has been seamless via Google backup. Didn't realise it will put the apps to the same position in the new phone. Those apps I moved to SD Card, Google left an app link at the same spot, click to install. Brilliant!

bro, can you update here again once you got and stick the nillkin tempered glass?

I have the H+ Pro which does not cover the entire screen, but hardly noticed it during use. Nillkin did explain on their page why (below)

Other than that, I am very happy with it. The oleophobic coating works, so there are almost no fingerprint marks on it. And since this is 0.2mm thick, I can use it with the ice view case.

Er, Rugged means more protection? More protection means thicker?
Maybe try Neo Hybrid Crystal

The Qoo10 Spigen store selling $24.90, below your $25 limit. :D

The Neo Hybrid Crystal is exactly the same as Neo Hybrid, the only difference is, as the crystal implied, it is crystal clear. :)

From this YT review:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFT9rXKqUh0

The Rugged Armour doesn't have the bumper, I believe the single piece should be thinner on the sides than the 2 pieces design. I don't mind the thickness but the width and length the bumper added to the case.

The Spigen Neo Hyrid/Crystal is their top end model, nearly 2x the price of thin fit. yet the qoo10 shop is selling them at about the same price, that's why I hesitated to buy. btw, I bought the Neo Hybrid from that seller too. :D

Likely due to the late launch. Anyone still waiting for the telco launch or those that couldn't or didn't plan to and got from Lazada are dead set on getting the device.

Those more indifferent between it and other flagships were weeded out waaaaaaaaaaay back; those less indifferent but not dead set were lost too unfortunately.

Side note: Anyone reading this who has contacted HTC officials in the past, mind sharing with me so I can try following up? A bit hard to go through all the old pages to find :s22:.

Hopefully this shows HTC is not ready to ditch handphone market yet.

Hopefully not man.. :s12:

As of now, very very smooth with no lag. Apps opening actually seem much faster compared to Note 5. Performance is miles apart from M8/Butterfly 2.

The heat is pretty similar to M7.

Audio is just wow. Nothing to say about it. The speakers' sound quality is also wonderful. Preferred it over M7 and Butterfly 2, and definitely better than Samsung devices. (I actually don't know why people are complaining about lack of stereo front facing because this is stereo and is super loud too.)

Camera on 1.90.400.4 is also snappy and good. Just not as fast as S7 but image quality is very good. I have zero complains other than some lens flare issue.

Screen has pinkish tint at some angle but when viewed straight on, it is a really good display with wonderful colours. Brightness is a little dim compared to AMOLED from Samsung, but overall still very good.

The buttons is ridiculously good.

Tl:dr. The phone is just damn good and will get things done quickly. :]

Ooo another v satisfied customer.. :s12:

Were u previously thinking of recontracting to get the HTC 10?

Ok.. when r u able to do ur recontract? I guess u'll be getting a phone then to flip?

For me, forced to flip after efforts contacting HTC officials (both CEO & local reps) did not result in telco involvement, although we had a mini victory of getting FB active again LOL. Was a fun but frustrating ride since May/June, that's when I could recontract. Months wasted. Got the phone nonetheless :)
