Any idea how do we know if the htc 10 bought in sg will work in US? Possible to check?

My htc m8 doesn't work with US sim.

@shawniiex (sp) and @garychengjw sent it into a cup of water (idek how I did it, phone too smooth). Not even full immersion, just top half of the phone. At the start whole phone working, only WiFi not working and water vapour at camera lens. Then suddenly now they tell me upper board, mainboard, lower board, LCD and even back cover spoil. (wtf? What could possibly be spoilt on the back cover with water??) Total $951-10%.

And no I rejected quotation, said they might as well tell me to buy a new phone that cost me lesser. My mistake for dropping but seriously, cost of repair higher than price of phone??! That's plain stupid.

They even have uh-oh protection for US, and here we have to pay a cut vegetable head price for repair.

Asked them if they can just void my warranty in exchange for a cheaper repair, yet to receive a reply yet. Probably unrepaired i guess. It is equivalent to buying another HTC 10.

Camera will always force maximum brightness if I'm not wrong.

It's really annoying as I need to take photo or attach photo from app often...too bright..

iphone 7 plus

need a good camera for my japan trip.
but at the same time, i know if i get a camera, it'll just rot in my dry cabinet until i go overseas.
so right now... it seems like the iphone is luring me away.

Frankly speaking ip7+ camera is still no where as top notch compared to s7.

My take, stick to HTC 10 or Note 7 or LGV20 (if you can wait). And save the money for olympus camera.

Mine can't detect CC anymore after the 1.8x software update.

Try to do Android pay at the home screen, not when in the Android pay app.
For NTUC, I position the phone centrally w.r.t. the reader's LCD, with the long edge of the phone LCD parallel to the long edge of the reader's LCD, and with the top of the camera at the top half of the reader's LCD.

I always launch the Android Pay app before tapping with my M8 previously. I will try what you have suggested and see how it goes.

Seems like it is a delicate process to pay using NFC on the 10.

Just want to check whether this is because of HTC Sense or screen issue. I noticed that when I'm at the main screen, the top and bottom portion of the screen is slightly dimmer. When I open the Apps, I did not see this behavior.

Part of the material design. Nova launcher has the setting to put "shadows" at the edge of display.
