How to check CID?

You can either download an apps called Simple CID Getter to check it or install a Terminal Emulator apps and key in the command: getprop ro.cid when you in the local shell of your mobile phone.

Hi all, late to the party but I finally got my HTC10 and loving it so far.

Btw this is my first time buying an unlocked phone in Singapore, how does the new Android update roll out? Will I get an automatic update? Or will I have to download and install manually?

Hi Benjiekay, welcome to the club. Usually update will be pushed to your phone when it is available in Singapore.

Is this the first time you're buying an unlocked phone, or is this the first time you're buying a phone in Singapore? IDA does not allow phones to be locked to any carrier, unlike in the US where a phone bought from eg. Verizon can only be used on their network.

Is there improvement to the camera (more consistent in low light focusing) and battery life? Was thinking of selling my 10 as I found it disappointing compared to my P9 which is even cheaper and better.

But maybe will give it a chance, update to Nougat and see.

From time to time, I have to clear HTC cache partition to reduce wakelocks and improve battery life. Sometimes have to do a few times.
