oh ya.. 1 more thing. i tried to switch off the haptic vibration option but the phone still vibrates when i type in the numbers in the 'phone' for calling out. any tips to solve it? trying to minimise batt usage but switching off all the vibrating functions

i din realize it until now cus i hardly use the dial pad to call.

main drainers here are the calls and GPS....sounds about right for a smartphone these days.

Yup, i called up M1 and they said the same thing too. SO how much is it now under Singtel?

It is currently sold at $148 for ione plus. They gave me $100 voucher so i only paid the balance of $48. I can't find it at hello shops too. Only available through singtelshop.com or do a purchase over the phone.

For me, I call them to do a purchase over the phone as there are probs with my acc in online purchase. Took around a week to get everything settled.

I just update them when prompted. froyo wise, it was announced that it will be coming by the end of Q3. but im not sure. Don't think has any concrete dates released yet.

wait for Froyo until neck long long liao...wifi tethering and Apps on SD are 2 of the only things missing in Legend for me...finally gave up and got a Huawei MiFi E585 for S$160.

so the only way to purchase it have to be through the web or the phone? those smaller singtel shops dont carry anymore?

May I know if we are able to change the setting for the key lock?Right now I can only unlock my phone by pressing the on/off button.
And is there any setting that I can do to make my phone wake up when there is a new message?

both are impossible with the original stock firmware. but for the message, you can try downloading chompsms or handcent from the market. it's a form of messaging application where one of the features is lighting up the screen when a message has been sent to your phone as you wanted it.
