hi, why is it that i could not search my home wireless network?

Thanks.

In the wireless settings menu, click your Menu button and go to Advanced. Under Regulatory Domain, select number of channels to 14 or whatever is the highest number. Your home wireless should be broadcasting on one of the higher channels.

Hope it helps!:s8:

My battery life just dropped 3% when i used sync all on a data connection. On the bus when i surf the net for 20min it drops at least 10-15%.. Other than that I think batt. life is reasonable but not brilliant.

Today was extremely light usage with only occasional updates via wifi.. (sleep half the day cos of hot weather :) ). After dinner batt life was at 80-85%. Was quite suprised at that.

Is the extremely fast drain on the HSPA connection normal or shd I get my battery checked?

That would be about right....

Lots of people complaining about battery drain is because they're fiddling with the phone all day long as it's new. :D

But once the initial fiddling is over, when the phone is left on it's own, the battery drain isn't so obvious.

All the screen being on, with touch capacitive being used, and the processor and data connection used....it all adds to battery drain.

Dang.. Just encountered a problem with the APN settings. Last night I installed Juicedefender. Enabled it and when to sleep.. This morning cant connect to sunsurf APN..

Sometimes the H appears at the top bar, but I cant surf. It disappears in a few seconds. :(
Anybody able to help me reconnect? I've tried re-entering the APN settings but so far still the same..

I have uninstalled both APNdroid and Juicedefender but it still doesnt connect to the net.

just bought my legend yday. i noticed that under 'about phone' (which is under menu then setting) when i go in to 'network', it showed that im under 'GPRS' under mobile network type, though i change to GSM already. is this normal? and the map requires me to log on to a network. i thought htc phone's gps can work without data plan or wifi?

please enlighten me on this anyone. thanks alot!

Ok the APN problem solved itself.. :)

Google Maps doesnt save map data on the phone so it needs the data connection to download all the content. Without data it will be a grey area on the screen.

My network type is HSPDA btw.. Not sure why yours is GPRS. Are your APN settings right? Perhaps no 3.5G coverage in that area (dont know how likely that is in SG).
