Do you mean tethering? No app required. 3G and GPRS uses your data plan, wifi doesn't.

Go to : Setting > Wireless & network > Internet sharing (checked)

Once you connect your phone to your com via usb, you will see the top left hand corner showing an icon (usb). drag it down and select 'Internet sharing' and click 'Done'

Now you can connect either with ur data plan or if you are near any wifi, u can connect to it as well.

Go to : Setting > Wireless & network > Mobile Networks > Network Mode
WCDMA is 3G, select the option that you wanted.

Not sure about AMPed, you may wish to call Singtel to check with them.

ya i aslo wonder where can i get a demo set of legend to get a feel

you can try asking the sales person from any service provider if there's one for you to try out.. Some of the sales person might be using and would gladly let you have a feel of it

DBS mobile banking

Any of your guys able to access the mobile banking site using your Legend??

m.dbs.com.sg
m.posb.com.sg

Don't seem to be working for me. They detect the phone as a unsupported model.

anyone noticed that the screen will go off during a call? is there anyway to stop it from happening? like is there any app to prevent screen from turning off during a call?

I just realised why already, the screen will auto turn off when the phone is placed at my ear, but it will turn on again when i move it away.

neat feature , at first i thought the phone got hardware problem or what..

st ..
ne line .. almost all station ...

no1 gt this problem?

It isn't really a problem with the phone.. it's more like a problem with the reception you get at NEL stations. You would generally have a hard time surfing when there aren't enough cellular reception around or if the network is busy..

This one has to depend on your choice of operator and the network...

I'm using starhub and on NEL there is HSPDA but on EWL it sux and uses only GPRS...

That is call proximity sensor... its a feature of a high tech phone... why have this feature is to prevent your face from accidentally pressing any buttons off the phone while having a conversation...

why do u wanna turn it off??

I won a brand new HTC Legend from a HTC Launch event last night.

Will be selling the HTC Legend off at around $630.

Those interested, please PM me.

Thanks
