it is not that Steve is lying. His way of diverting this issue to other phones is not good.
I am an Apple fanboy (MBP 17!, iphones, etc) but I am quite disappointed with their PR this time.

Steve Jobs is smart by pointing out that other phones are facing the same prob.

and his prob could be solved just by wearing that rubber thing ard the phone.

Feels less mighty and powerful when Steve has decided to pull his magical products down to other "normal" products level?

Somemore compare to those old phones... :D

he compared with BB bold (not interested), HTC droid eris(din heard of it), Samsung Omnia 2 (Win Mobile? wake up steve!) :s13:

i've tried on legend by covering its antenna with my hand. it only drop 1 bar.
maybe different locations yield different results..

I tried holding vertically, horizontally, with one hand, two hands, two fingers - same number of bars.

i think he has done the right thing by comparing with other smartphones and pointing out the similar weak spot which exist in all phones. by doing that, ppl will tend to accept iPhone 4's imperfection.

Yeah, he did the right thing to save face. Whether that's ethical or not is another whole new ball game. :D

So next time he wants to act high and mighty that it's not right to be rude to competitors, can take his words as bullsh*t as well. :)

I suffocated mine with my pillow, and still could get incoming calls! :s13:

Well, Steve...good job.
My respect to you fall by 1 star!
Still, you are 3/5 in my book.... :s13:

Apple really makes good products overall. This iPhone4 was one of their failures...
In any case, we should see an update soon, probably called iPhone4XS (XS = extra strength!) LOL. =:p

iphone antenna issue is caused by shorting the gap between 2 antennae right? its a different problem compared to nokia, blackberry etc which Jobs compared to.

not for those affected by Job's reality distortion field.... :D

for Apple, if bad stuff, it's industry standard, so all suck thumb.

if good stuff, it's exclusive to Apple only, so everyone else suck thumb. :D

I think that we legend buyers are the smarter buyer;
the Desire and the Legend are of the same trade-in price and the legend looks much sweeeeeeet.
