I think domL has some nice lovely cases for Legend and they also sell MF screen protector there.

Just like to check again since there are so many Legend users now, anyone else having problems with video and audio not being in sync when watching converted videos? Tried a few conversion programs and settings but the issue persist.

I've been searching around, seems like quite a few pple complaining about Desire, and a few complaining about the Legend, but I'm not sure if its isolated problems. Would a few kind souls help to run some tests? Thanks

you need internet connection to get the map loaded. GPS can work without data plan, but you can only see the blue dot or arrow head but not the map.

try loading the map before you go on the road, meaning if you know where you wanna go, manually scroll the map to your desired location, but do not off your google map apps, i have tried it before, but only for a 15min walking distant. so it may not work if you are travelling a long distant. hope it helps.

That's exactly how Google Maps work. It requires an internet connection. iirc there are workarounds, but rather technical and might require rooting.

Thanks for the help ongksj & kennyboy!

Btw is there any way to track/log the data charges for GPRS data usuage? Cant seem to find it in the 'Settings'

Downloaded 'NetCounter' instead. It works

If it works, then I can only say....

It's amazing why people still don't use Google these days. :D

If not, then suck thumb. :D

The internet sharing option is disabled in my phone. I thought I can ON it then search a network thru my laptop.

I dunno we have to connect USB and install HTC sync first.

wanna ask, is it possible to do tethering (using's phone data plan to connect laptop to internet) with this HTC legend?

yes, you can. you can even use it as a wifi to connect to your wireless too.

steps:
1) go to setting
2) go to wireless and networks
3) enable your Mobile networks
4) enable Internet sharing

5) plug in your usb cable
6) drag down the notification bar (top)
7) select Internet sharing
8) Select last option (Internet sharing)
9) Click Done

Wait for your system to connect. If you have your wifi set on your phone, it will use your wifi instead of you data plan.

That's why it's so important to Google. And don't say cannot find...I type in "HTC Legend tethering" and this is the first result I got. :D
