Linux memory management is different from your everyday Windows machine. Linux will load as many applications as it can into the memory. So, it is normal not to have more than a few megabytes of free RAM even on a Nexus One. I have a flying phone with 3MB of 256MB "free" RAM because there always is 40 to 50MB of cached RAM that can be purged.

Read the links below.

Relax man...why get angry? I'm just asking nicely. :(

You still haven't explain why u talking about wifi connection when using tethering? Unless you're talking about wifi tethering which Legend doesn't support natively.

You say you're using wifi->legend->usb->laptop for tethering? That means you've got an ancient laptop that doesn't support wifi, and tethering is supposed to use your data plan, and from my testing you can't really use home wifi to tether via phone....just trying to clarify, no need to get uptight over a few questions.

Well, first of all, I didn't mention about laptops. Secondly, I said "you can even use it as a wifi to connect to your wireless too", which means its another option for user.

Tethering, like you said "confirm use phone network connection", which also includes wifi.

Sorry if I over-reacted, as I had bad experiences with forumers in this forum b4. They thought they know everything and like to show off, and doubt others. And your question reminds me of them.

and screen protectors, you have to use the Hero's protector for now cos they haven't had one for Legend. it's extremely similar except that the top part near the speakers are not covered; since you need to be able to hear your friends while on the phone. pretty okay for me

Eh.. domL webbie & shop has the MF screen protectors for Legend. I believe mobilesquare has them also.
