ok i just tried again, but with 1 name nia. it's in the phone list

check everything and uncheck 'Only contacts with phone number'
cos the vcard may not have a contact number in it.

where u got the business card from? cos i rmb i cant see also, i click nia, i was told it successful, but just cant rmb how i find my contact alrdy. but its in the phone somewhere.

if u go to people and click the menu > view can u see anything?

There are different requirements that users may have for both.
I chose Legend because it looks better and seems to have more portability than the Desire.

And I really hope they can solve that audio/video sync issue soon!

If it's anything like the audio delay on HD2/Desire, then most probably it won't be solved.

For now, gotta add delay to audio when encoding....otherwise sure OOS.

ok i just tested by sending a vcard to myself and it works, you have to use the default messages app in your legend instead of handcent to open and save the vcard, it will be saved in your phone contact.

It seems like handcent does not handle vcards correctly.

yes, it will say that if you open from messages, after that you need to go to people > view > phone contacts
it will be there.

like phone numbers will have the - like 912-345-67 instead of 91234567

I will delay encoding in my brain. Cheat it to think that audio/video is sync.

Heheh....of course, that's the best way.

I didn't really notice the audio oos in the first place until people keep harping on it.

Also unable to update. It says my phone is up to date and no updates available.

Those of you having problems finding updates, remember to turn off Wifi and use 3G to check for updates. After which you will have the option to turn on Wifi to download the update.

For some reason the update is only visible on 3G. So the update check only finds the update when you use 3G to check.

Im thinking of resetting my phone to factory condition cos of some clutter (overzealous downloading of apps etc).

Normally what do I have to back up? I can only think of apps and contacts. Is there anything I left out?
