Those of you having problems finding updates, remember to turn off Wifi and use 3G to check for updates. After which you will have the option to turn on Wifi to download the update.

For some reason the update is only visible on 3G. So the update check only finds the update when you use 3G to check.

Bluetooth files to fones of other makes

Hi, Legend users here using wat app to bluetooth files, songs to fones of other makes? My legend can receive files using bluetooth from fones of other makes but when sending a file using bluetooth, it fails. Tried using Linda File Manager and also Astro File Manager both same results.
Any1 can help? Thx

dunhaf leh, tried to send to various makes of normal fones, nokia, SE, samsung, all cannot receive. but e legend can receive e files fr these fones

Be glad its not just Legend that has that issue but the higher end HTC phones too. Those owners of higher end models prob bang balls more than us

I am hoping for Froyo update as higher priority over the sync issue for flash videos anyhow.

At least xvid/mp4 playback is still good.

HTC has its HTC Sync software, which I haven't tried before. You can access the memory card on your PC like a card reader using the USB cable.. the phone comes automatically with a "back up" software that backs up your sms etc.. they've never mention if that software backs up contacts though :S

there are unconfirmed sources saying that HTC will release Froyo for Legend, but they have not given any projected date or promises Froyo.. What most people recommend is that consumer should start emailing their support to pester them for Froyo =P

this is bad, i thought it was because of the hardware buay tahan. hopefully with an update it can fix this.

yeah, before even talking about eclair to froyo, HTC should fix this first.
I do not think it is hardware related as this problem happens on Desire also.

I might be getting htc legend tomorrow, the thing is i have read from the previous post that htc legend has serious battery problem. I just want to know that is the legend battery issues been resolved? How can it be resolved? Please help me!!!
