Do more read up in the XDA dev forum. I don't think it will boost performance, it's just something to bypass the security check :s22:

My comment on that Legend speed is independent from S-OFF thingy :o

I agree with what fatthumb said, do read more info from xda forum, as you will also gain more knowledge


S-OFF stands for "Security OFF". Once your OS is in S-OFF mode, you can write your SU file, which is basically all those system files. It is something like editing Windows OS registry......In fact, i have provided the "S-OFF" xda thread on this post just earlier, inside stated very clearly


Brother fattumb,

Legend speed is not base on S-OFF thing, it's base on CPU, overall performance & that overclock kernel

The Legend on the video looks very fast because the video is played slightly faster :s12:


Even my overclocked to 806Mhz Legend not that fast though

by that time i think the DHD release already and can change new phone already. the Wildfire port still in Alpha with a lot of issue so assuming someone works on it full time i think still need another mth to reach the stability of CM Froyo.

Do handcent sms wake up when there is a new message?
Currently I still using the default one with sms popup.

Default one got sms popup?

I've been using handcent since day 1 so dunno got such feature on stock :s13:

Too bad language barrier is a big turn off for me to try, difficult to understand what features does this new ROM has (in the original spanish forum).... :o

I tried this new ROM yesterday night, but flashed back to Cyanogenmod 6...The reason is because some application still runs in Spanish, somemore my phone Security does not go to "OFF"

Unless some forumers translated the Spanish forum, i'll then re-look into what are the new things that has been added into this ROM

Default de don have,have to download sms popup.

Anyway,can we remove the unlock part when we reply message?
Now I have to unlock the phone before I can reply my message.
The pop up got show,but when I click on the text part,it will bring me to the locked screen where I have to unlock and it will bring me back to the message.

Hmm when I was using handcent on HTC stock rom, I don't need to unlock in order to use the "quick reply" :look:
